The kitchen features new appliances and granite counter tops. Marble tiles grace the bathroom. While Alameda has beautiful weather an air conditioner cools the space on hot days. Heating is provided by a charming gas fireplace and electric heaters.Dining Table with 4 chairs.

Living Room features redwood ceiling, gas fireplace, 1895 chimney, 46' HDTV, internet, couch, coffee table, and children books.

Modern amenities such as HD cable television and Internet service via wireless router are available.

Located in the desirable “Alameda Gold Coast” the apartment is just two blocks from the main business center with its many businesses, coffee shops, restaurants, a theater, bars and shopping. The South Shore mall offers a Safeway, Trader Joes, Kohls, Ross, three banks, a drugstore, and many specialty shops, as well as several excellent restaurants.

The Oakland airport is just 15 minutes away and San Francisco is only 25 minutes across the new Bay Bridge. Close freeway access connects to the entire bay area. The Oakland/Alameda ferry offers relaxing convenient access to San Francisco.

The house was great! Well-stocked with everything you may need. The beds are very comfortable. The location is awesome and in walking distance to many great restaurants. We just loved it and cannot wait to come back!

Great place and great location! Be sure to check out the hinges on some of the doors. The only thing that might concern some is that there are fairly steep stairs up and down. We didn't mind because we needed to burn off some calories after enjoying great food from one of the many restaurants just a block or two away. This is a very walkable neighborhood, quite charming and close to shopping, the beach, and the ferry to San Francisco. It's also less than an hour by car to Muir Woods. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is well decorated and comfortable.

We stayed for 6 nights in late December. The accomodations were spacious, very nice large living room with a fabulous cast iron faux wood stove and well stocked very usable large eat-in kitchen. The bedrooms were very large...just like home and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the deck but that is a nice feature. Monica was very responsive and quickly provided a kitchen tool we needed. Walking distance to Safeway and Trader Joes and the main shopping area on Park. It had the charm of a Victorian among other Victorians, and the renovation was respectful of that.
